We had the best time here. The food was
very plentiful and the staff very helpful. We got up early most days and ate in
all the restaurants they were all super. The weather was a little windy, trade
winds, but fun was happening every where. The fun pool was packed every day, a
lot of chairs got reserved early.
The women at this pool and beach
were about 50/50 topless. Being the first time at a topless resort for my
girlfriend proved no problem for her. She thought that exposeing the girls
might be a problem but after checking out the area the top came off like a wet
pair of panties. She quickly became happy she tried it. She had no trouble
running around topless to the bar, bathroom,to the pool, beach etc.
There was a contest that the losers had to circle the pool nude, that got a lot
of interest. And she really liked the event where the women had to collect as
many mens bathing suits as they could in 3 minutes. Turns out that I lost my
suit in this one, there was a lot of nude guys; some were modest but most of us
just hung around and played the game until they said we could go retrieve them.
We decided that if it was clothing, it would be even better than just topless.
I know I'd be happiier.
At home we're always naked. Then the week was
over and time to go home. The rooms ,staff and every thing else was great and
we're sure that everyone will have a good time there. If they don't, it's
because they didn't want to. So we'll see you all the next time

Well here goes, I booked this trip as a
surprise for my wife. I, in a time in my life before my wife, had been to Hedo
III and really loved it, everything about it. But, that said, my wife does not
want to return to Hedo, because that is just the way women think some times. I
do not get it, but that is some female thought process that happens, thank
goodness males do not get it or we would never do anything.
Anyway, I
thought that Temptations looked like fun, mild enough for Deborah, but still
fun. Like I said before, all your plans worked beautiful, flying, lay-overs,
transportation to hotel was great. As we arrived, the hotel looked great,
friendly reception, fast check in, room was great, great location, ground
floor, with out door tub, on the quiet pool side.
People at the hotel
were very friendly, place was very clean,and maid service did a great job as
well. We hung out at the quiet pool bar the first day, walked over to the party
pool, had a nude wedding like thing going on, lots of topless women around
pool, my wife's first intro in nude/semi nude people in public, all was cool.
Had the PJ night that night, what fun, my wife and I met some other people
earlier in the day and ran into them again at the PJ party. Danced had a great
time.
Next day, hung out around quiet pool, met some more people,
drank a lot, had fun. Wife went topless at pool, along with a few others, had
fun. Met a couple from Canada, made friends, had a great time. Not much going
on that night. We went golfing the next day, about a 20 minute taxi ride, only
6 other golfers on the course, service was wonderful. Next day it rained, a
lot. but good to sit in tub out side , hop over wall, run to bar, back to hot
tub. Over all we loved the resort,the people,everything.
Now the
negatives: The drinks were not " top shelf" very weak, and only one kind of
beer. The food quality was poor, the buffet was not good at all. we ate very
little at the resort, we did go across the street one night, it was wonderful.
The little freaky tattooed, and pierced activity director was really rude and
obnoxious , especially at the PJ night, a real ass.
We met a really
nice couple from Canada, only one really over the top, " lifestyle" couple that
had a hard time taking NO for an answer, they moved to Desire the next day,
thank goodness.
We all wish they would have had a couple of large out
door " HOT TUBS " maybe one on the quiet side and one on the party side ? It
was cool every night, hot tub would have been very nice addition.
All
in all, 0 to 5 , we would give it a 4. We usually stay in Playa Del Carmen, off
fith Ave. in a small hotel called La Tortuga, we have a private roof top hot
tube, and sunning area, so this was the first resort type trip. My wife came
out of her shell a little, going topless around others, we are talking about
trying to find a place like Temptations, but not so busy as Cancun?
Hope to one day get her to Hedo III, I know she would love it, maybe this is a
great first step. Thank you a wonderful experience, we will use and recommend
Castaways Travel forever. |

We were originally scheduled to stay at
Desire Resort, but due to an over booking situation were bumped to Temptation
Resort. (OK...OK... we should have booked this trip with Castaways, but we
thought we could do it ourselves only to find we had NO clout to resolve the
overbooking at Desire and get ourselves our reserved room there.)
Temptation is topless for the women accepted, and while full nudity is
not "officially" accepted, lets just say that in the very late evenings many of
the guests find a way to ignore or at least avoid those who might want to
enforce the no nudity rules. It seems there is strength in numbers and after
midnight the staff didn't seem too interested in enforcing the no nudity rules
in at least one of the spas. We're guessing that if anyone would have
complained... it might have been a different story. But in any event, we would
say that the resort carried a very highly, sexually charged atmosphere most of
the time we were there.
Also... while this is not a "swingers" resort
like Desire, we found a good many 'like minded' couples to enjoy our week with.
Most of the couples activities were restricted to the rooms, but learned that
if you are discreet late in the evenings, the term "sex-on-the-beach" can mean
much more than the name of a drink. <grin>
Overall... food, rooms
and proximity to off resort activities was better at Temptation than Desire.
We actually had a chance to go back to Desire for the last 4 days...
but chose to stay at Temptation. We would stongly recommend this resort to any
couple looking for a great time at a fairly sexy carefree resort, are not
necessarily into the full nude or swinger scene.
Castaways Note: We're glad these folks had a
great time, but it's important to note that official resort policy does not
tolerate any "adult activities" or full nudity in public areas of the resort.
If caught, and especially if you offend other guests, you could be removed from
the property. The safe play is to respect the topless only rules, and take you
adult "fun" to your rooms. |

Well, this place is great! We read some of
the reviews that were negative about the food or the pool.
Let me tell
you, after being there, you have 3 beautiful pools to be at, as well as three
beach areas to sit at, and plenty of places to eat and if you can't find
anything to eat, well you are too picky and need to stay home.
This
place was great!! The staff was great!! The room was great!! Be sure to bring
plenty of ones with you so you can tip the staff, once we did, we never had to
get up from our seats or if we went back they were right there for you. Also
when you go into town, same thing,
TIP: Don't give big bills for small
purchases; they will give you pesos back which you don't want a lot of. Will be
back with friends. SO GO ALREADY BOOK IT!!! |

Blue Bay Getaway is the place to go if
you're interested in having a fun adult oriented time. There are all different
ages of people that go there and we had no problem meeting people our age
(30-35) to party with. This was our first time at a topless resort and my girl
freind felt very comfortable sunning without her top on. The saying there is
"No one knows you and No one gives a flip" and that is the truth.
The
staff at Blue bay was excellent. There are fun adult activities during the day
by the pool and at night at the indoor/outdoor pavilion called Nice Shoes that
you can watch or participate in if you want. There is no pressure to join in
the games but I would recommend joining in the fun. They have guided club tours
at night that are fun where one low price will get you in the VIP area without
waiting in any lines, transportation to the club and that price also includes
all your drinks! Blue bay also has convenient vendors that offer booze cruises,
parasailing and dive and snorkel trips. They also have a quiet pool where you
can just relax if you have the notion. The food is very good and the water at
the resort can be drunk right out of the faucet. It's all inclusive, adults
only, for singles and couples. We will be back soon!!

resort transitioned to Temptation Resort & Spa... but the visitors comments
are still valid even though the resort has been much improved from the time of
this clients visit. |
