unspoiled , you can still hear the chatter of monkeys in the giant bamboo of
the mountain rain forests, and some of the most perfect gardens are underwater.

LA
SOURCE is an all inclusive resort near St. Georges, a picturesque colonial town
and capital of Grenada, with lots of hills and ups and downs. La SOURCE is NOT
a nudist resort and has no nude facilities. The beaches near there may offer
you some seclusion for skinny dipping but it's not common.
The main
harbor at St. Georges is a riot of color and tourists mix easily with local
folks amid side walk businesses that dot the streets facing the sea. St.
Georges and La SOURCE are both just minutes from Pointe Saline International
Airport, which spares you a long ride on arrival and departure. If you decided
to explore town, make sure you wear comfortable shoes as the city is built on
and around the harbor and surrounding hills......make it to the top where the
main church is for spectacular views of the harbor, city and seas beyond.
LaSOURCE is set in a stunning 40 acre oasis of white sand and sea on
the long stretch of Pink Gin Beach.
The resort has two sister
properties on St. Lucia, called LaSPORT and Rendezvous (couples only), equally
impressive and upscale resorts with terrific spa facilities.
The
minimum age for guests at LaSource is 16 years, except during the period June
20th - September 08th 2008 where the minimum age will be 10 years. Please note
that spa treatments are only given to persons 16 years and over.
Grenada is one of the few surprises left in the Caribbean. Grenada is
in the far southern portion of the Caribbean's island chain, near
Trinidad/Tobago, and not far from South America. Known as the Spice Island,
you'll have lots of room to explore and make friends, as the population is
somewhat small but the destination is fairly large.

Grenada can be reached from many international gateways
from the USA, South America as well as connections from Europe. Non-stop daily
flights are available from Miami and San Juan. La SOURCE can be reached by taxi
or airport transfers from either the airport or from St. Georges, both of which
are within minutes of the resort. In fact, the airport is just across the west
end peninsula road from the resort. It is 5 minutes from Point Salines
International Airport and 15 minutes from the Capital, St
Georges.

taste. The atmosphere is very special. You will undoubtedly meet other guests

OSCARS BEACH BAR & RESTAURANT The
Italians call it antipasto, the Chinese dim sum, the Turks maze, the French
hors doeuvres and the Spanish tapas. Unlike their cousins around the
world, tapas are more than just appetizers. When savored at dinner-time with a
glass of sherry, a full array of these tasty miniature morsels can be a meal in
themselves. The word tapas mean lids or covers. Tapas were originally a piece
of bread or cured ham placed on top of a wine glass to keep dust and flies out.
Well, things have changed since then. The globally influenced Menu LaSource has
adopted the concept of tapas and married it with the health and wellness
cuisine (Healthy eating without sacrificing flavor and taste). Oscars
therefore conjures up the idea of healthy tapas served in meal size portions.
OSCAR'S Oscars Beach Bar & Restaurant is ideally located
right on the beach. It is made almost entirely from hard wood imported from
South America. Even the roof is constructed the way the South American Indians
would have done it. Oscars boasts one of the most spectacular views in
the Hotel. St. Georges is in the background and the mountains, hills and
sea confirms the feeling that you are in paradise.
CAFÉ
DELI The Café Deli is set in the main facilities with a choice of

fillings like Parma ham, chicken pesto, jerk turkey and tuna. A selection of

Room rates vary seasonally with high season (December
15-April 15) the most expensive. Summer rates are usually the least expensive
and may reflect seasonal specials such as one day free for 6 paid or similar
incentives. Such offers are promotional in nature and may be withdrawn or
modified without notice.
Generally, daily rates range from
$200-$300+/person/day, depending upon the season and room type/suite. A vacation "package" is
typically the most economical way to go, since airfare, airport transfers,
taxes, tips, all meals, all bar drinks and room are included in one up front
price.

The Luxury Single Rooms are
ground floor rooms on a hillside with a balcony or patio overlooking the
gardens.
Rooms have a colonial feel that invites visions of Grenada's
island history. Jalousied wooden shutters rather than curtains provide shade
from the brilliant Caribbean sunlight. Ceiling fans gently move the air. Cool
marble under foot feels opulent. Hand carved mahogany furniture add warmth, as
does a 4-poster king size bed (or a choice of two double beds) with off white
bedspreads that add to the antique feel. Generous room size gives you desirable
space, while a private balcony or terrace takes you outside to a view of the
sea or our fabulous gardens. Bathrooms are also spacious and luxurious with
abundant marble, a bath and shower, and a plentiful supply of necessary
toiletries and treatment robes.
all rooms have air conditioning. Other
amenities include international direct dial telephone, clock radio, mini fridge
(not stocked), in-room safes, iron and ironing board. Room categories differ by
location and view. Rooms on the top floor have vaulted ceilings for an even

Upscale but relaxed. After dinner there is live entertainment
and socializing at the terrace bar or in the piano bar. There is no disco so
don't expect head banger music or dancing 'til dawn. This resort is truly more
of a spa and health treatment facility than a typical Caribbean all inclusive.
This is a great quiet and romantic place for a honeymoon, too.
Marriages can be arranged on site, plus a champagne reception can be added to
make it a special day.
THE TERRACE BAR & LOUNGE Although it is
covered by a high, vaulted ceiling made of beautiful hardwood the Terrace is
completely open with a view of the pool and the beach. The delicious tang of
the sea air encourages relaxation and enjoyment of the great cocktails served
here. The bar also serves a range of local, Caribbean and international drinks
including well known premium brands like Johnny Walker Black Label Whisky,
Glenfiddich Single Malt Whisky, Mt. Gay Rum, Beefeater Gin and Absolute Vodka.
THE PIANO BAR This very chic night-spot feels like a plush London
club. Dark wood and deep cushioned furniture match this impression. The
long bar is stocked with whatever your heart desires, and of course, there is a
baby grand piano and a resident pianist tickling the ivories with just about
any tune you request. Its where you might meet newly acquired friends for
drinks before dinner or a nightcap after dinner.
Lively conversation
and laughter often go on until the wee hours of the morning. Also available at
the Piano bar are famous board games like chess and checkers.
ENTERTAINMENT Part of the program offers Caribbean delights such as limbo
dancing, folkloric dancing with steel band music. Music for dancing is played
by a live band.
TIPS Make sure you hit the shops around the
harbor...some of the better buys are jewelry and clothing.
Take a good
pair of beach sandals to reach the clothing optional beach.

Lots to do and see on the island. Know as the Spice Island,
make sure you take time to see the plantations and farms where spices are
grown, including nutmeg, the island's major export.

Grenada is a long flight from most places so you will
use most the a day to travel to the island and a day to return home. So give
yourself adequate time to relax and unwind while you're on the island. |

The beauty and unspoiled nature of Grenada makes it
worth the trip. |

Wonderful selection of dining options for a single

Just about any time year round is a good time to visit
Grenada. Nearly outside the hurricane belt, the lower Caribbean can be prone to
hurricanes in late August and in September, up to mid October. Note that you're
in a tropical zone, so expect rain at any time, so take something to cover up
with or take an umbrella.

Wish the resort had a clothing optional beach on its
property.
