Negril - Jamaica Here are a few trip reports submitted by some of our clients. Md_Sailor - June 2008 Still a Fantastic resort and i'm pleased with the udating that I witnesed since my first visit in 1998. Nice to visit delroys bar again and slip back into the no problem mind set. This being said I wish that the owners would put the time and money into Negril that they put into Montego Bay. II is a far more enjoyable area than where 3 is. Improve it or not I'll still be going back..... Paul & Emily - March 2008 The sex and nudity at Hedo II was not a surprise, this was what we expected. We were surprised and impressed with the beautiful resort grounds, the service, the food and the attitude of the staff. The grounds were spacious with many, many hidden places and areas for quiet space. The resort is built on a slight terrace above the beautiful Caribbean Sea. The resort has built lovely small pools and waterfalls at the different terrace levels, each with their own quite space. We found this a lovely surprise. The food was delicious and the service was great. This again exceeded our expectation. We know others have rated the food as only acceptable. This was not our experience. Finally, a vacation spot should be judged by how staff respond to unexpected problems. Our hotel room bathroom's plumbing was not functioning and they immediately upgraded us to another room. Emily stepped on a sea urchin the second day and was nearly unable to walk. The resort's nurse spent a hour extracting each of the barnacles applying disinfectant and bandages. She was walking and doing fine only 90 minutes after the treatment. There was no charge for this care. Hedonism II exceeded our expectations. We have heard so much about this resort that we were fairly sure we knew what to expect. Yet, we were surprised, and the surprise was not from the sex. So let's dispense quickly with a repeat of the well documented Hedo II sex scene. Sex is performed by couples in the open during much of the day. The "performances" are most commonly done on rubber floats about 20 yards off the beach, but could be anywhere on the nude side of the resort. In the late evening the nude hot tub is the location for the action. Most nights there are numerous couples enjoying oral sex and all types of other sex. Yet, we must add a word of caution about "swinging." As we have experienced in most erotic resorts and clubs, a couple enjoying sex in the open for others to watch does not mean they have sex with other couples. Most couples still "only" have sex with each other and if they do "play" with other couples many (maybe even most?) still only enjoy "soft swing". To illustrate, on our last day we were invited to join a group that visits Hedo each year. They hit the hot tub and immediately begin giving and receiving oral sex with each other, most at the same time. We later learned that this was the 30th Hedo II trip for the lead couples and the 15th visit for the assistant lead couple. With further discussions we learned that the lead couple has never has penis-vagina sex with another couple whereas the assistant couple only has had intercourse with another couple three times. This being said there were still many couples at Hedo II that do enjoy the "full montie". Hedonism II met our expectations as a wonderful nude and erotic resort. It exceeded our expectations as a beautiful location with wonderful food and service. Here are 5 pictures of the beautiful grounds of Hedonism II CD & DD - January 2008 We just returned from H3, our Christmas present to each other. After 4 years of going to the resort, we were very impressed with the changes this year. Management was everywhere and making sure that everyone was happy. The food was better than any trip in the last two years. Even the chefs, bar managers, etc..were out asking questions and making sure everyone was happy. Towels, if you couldn't find one someone would find you one. Bartenders circulated the pools constantly. There were only 4 of the entertainment staff left from last year, but they created all new shows and they were REALLY good. The newbies were working hard to impress and they did. Outside the disco, a lounge had been set up which was WONDERFUL for everyone to socialize. They were trying this out and we hope that they keep it. The only negative was the Piano Bar. The new guy just did not compare to our previous experiences. Room service was on time everday with coffee and treats! . Needless to say it was an amazing winter break and NOW I can't wait to go back in June with our friends. (Castaways Note: The January week this client attended was a group week; special events were organized that catered to an affinity group) S&R - January 2008 We had a great time at Hedo# 2, Jennifer was terrific with all our reservations and very helpful with our plane seating, we've had problems with that before. Judy was right on top of all our vouchers and paperwork. To answer your questions, Robert the cook is gone, we heard someone say he went to Grand Lido. Delroy is of course still there as well as Scumba. We have been to Hedo #3 before, but this was our first time at # 2. We enjoyed the layout at # 2 much more, especially the Seven Mile Beach. Nude beach and nude pool was fantastic as was the jerk chicken every day. We did miss all the friends we have made with the staff at Hedo # 3. On the down side, if there was one, could not believe the nude pool bar did not re-open at night until 10 pm, and the hair dryer didn't work in our room. We asked to get it replaced three times then gave up. Still all in all, we had a great time and are planning to go back next year. Thank you to you and your staff J & C - December 2007 We went to Hedo II over the second week of December and had a great time. Except for a brief bout of wind and rain from Tropical Storm Olga, the weather was perfect. The resort was not crowded and we met a great group of people. Average age that week was probably mid to late thirties and nationalities were very diverse. The food was much better than we had been led to expect. The blue crab marinara at Pastafaris was worth getting dressed up for. Entertainment at the main dining room was fun; Friday night was especially good. Except for the folks in the Dive Shop, more on this in a bit, the resort staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. We left feeling very pampered. Speaking of pampered, take the time and spend the money to get the couples massage at the spa. Keisha and Peta are great! We enjoyed the massage so much the first time that we went again on our last full day. Just be careful about going back out in the sun with the massage oil still on! Luckily, the gift shop keeps a supply of aloe. The rooms are good. A few people were having troubles with their AC; our AC worked so well housekeeping brought an extra blanket. We really didn’t spend much time in the room though. There are TVs in the room, but why would you want to turn it on? The stories you read about Hedo are, for the most part, true. We were there during a slow week and it was a mellow crowd, but, after sunset it could get interesting at the nude pool and hot tub. The resort is laid out such that you can find your comfort zone without any problem. No matter what part of the resort you’re at there is something about the charged atmosphere that you cannot resist. There may also be something in the water because, like the TV commercial, the time always seemed to be right! Our week there turned the clock back to when we first got together. We came home physically tired, a little worn, emotionally recharged and very happy together! Other things that we really enjoyed were vodka slushes at the bar, the catamaran cruise, bocci ball in the morning, volleyball in the afternoon, jerk chicken everyday at 4:30, sitting on the beach getting tanned, watching the sun go down and the water slide. The slide opens again around 11:30 or so at night; very, very fun in the dark after you’ve had a few drinks! Our only complaint from the entire week was the SCUBA operation. The staff in the shop were rude, the equipment poorly maintained, the boat was not well suited for diving and the Dive Masters just didn’t seem to care if we had a good time or not. The first dive was so unpleasant that we decided not to go again. The reef was very nice though. Diving in Negril is on par with what we have experienced in Key West. When we go back, we’re going to see if we can jump the fence and hook up with Sandals next door to dive. This place is a blast. We’re going back same time in December hoping to see some of the same people again and we’re trying to work a week in May. We’re putting together a Hedo box for our next trip. If you do go to any of the resorts in Negril, fly TimAir out of Montego Bay. It’s a twenty minute flight and worth every penny. Take a week, find your spot on the beach and rediscover why the two of you got together in the first place. Ron & Kim - June 2007 This was our virgin trip to Hedo 2 and the only thing the wife and I can say is why didn't we do this sooner! The bus trip wasn't bad either way but I think next it will be timair so we can get there sooner and stay a little longer. The employees were great they made the stay above and beyond what we had gotten used to on our vacations. Being virgins I wasn't to sure if the wife would really get into the nude side but, I must say she showed no fear and within 10 minutes we had made a new friend at the bar, Chris and soon after he and his wife Julia took use under there wing to show us a good time. The people are what make this place I have never been anywhere to meet more friendly and open people in my life. The drinks were excellent the service outstanding. What can I say about the food Pastafari was tremendous; Munsan wasn't bad just to hot to set there and eat with the grill going. This trip was so good that we were supposed to go on a cruise next year but the wife said we were coming back to paradise instead no arguments out of me. The rooms were very nice you can tell the resort is older but we didn't go there to sit in the room. The A/C was great when you first walked in but after a few minutes it was hard to tell if it was working that well. On the upside we had been told that the a/c was being replaced next year! We loved the PJ night and toga also. We can't wait until we get to back next year RT & V - March 2007 What a blast of a time . It was Valerie's first time there & within a few she was talkin it up. As for me this was my 9th time there & would recommend it to all my friends. Can't say one bad thing about any of my trips there & the people are very friendly . Along with this trip report the male half being there 9 times. Had a tribal tattoo piece that reads Hedo 2 on his lower back . Thanks & hope to see yas there next time James - February 2007 We enjoyed our trip to Heidonism II very much, the staff was great, did their best to make our time there rewarding. the food was good, we enjoyed the Italian restaruant the best. Friday eve. Dinner on the beach was great, and the entertainment. Had a lot of fun going on the party boat. Toga night, pajama night, fun. Just wish that Hedonism II would improve their rooms. Yes we enjoyed the Hot Tub, with interesting entertainment. TG: Single Male - December 2006 Despite the negative aspects, I had a good time overall and I’m glad I went. I certainly was able to satisfy my curiosity on what Hedo # 2 was all about! It is doubtful that I would ever go back as a single, but I would consider returning for another visit if I had a willing partner to go with (I’ll have to work on that!), and if that occurs, I would definitely book with Castaways Travel. Thanks again. The Good Booking – I got excellent service from Castaways Travel staff in booking the trip. There was one glitch early on when the initial confirmation document came in the mail with incorrect dates, but this turned out to be just a typo, and a new confirmation note was mailed to me right away. Room Location – In a word, GREAT! Room 2179, ground floor, second closest room to the nude pool area. Very convenient, and well worth the somewhat long walk to the restaurant area. I’m not sure if it was Castaways or Hedo that made this arrangement, but whoever it was, good job! The House Band – As with the other SuperClubs property I’ve been to (Breezes Runaway Bay a year ago), the resort had a great house band that performed every night. They were very versatile, performing quiet dinner music in the early evening, then getting very upbeat during the shows, either on their own or as a backup to several different vocalists during the week. This is one of the best features of the resort. The Disco – The Hedo II disco is WAY better than the one at Breezes. Much more effective ventilation against cigarette smoke, a nicer dance floor, a better DJ, and a separate room for the bar, which makes ordering drinks easier. The Sunset Cruise – The Thursday afternoon cruise to Rick’s Café in Negril was definitely worthwhile. The Bad Attendance – Unfortunately, the resort was less than half full when I was there, so the social scene was less than I imagined it would be. Organized Activities/Weekly Schedule – This is my biggest complaint of the whole trip. When I checked in I was given a two-page listing of scheduled activities for the week. Unfortunately, at least half of them never occurred. (For example, the schedule showed volleyball on the nude beach every day at 4:00pm, but they only did it once the whole time I was there.) This kind of thing is especially important for single travelers like me, because it is the best way to meet people. Also, some events happened on days other than what was shown on the schedule. For example, there was a steel band scheduled to appear on Friday, along with an evening beach party, both of which I was looking forward to. But for reasons that were not explained, these were rescheduled to Saturday, so I missed them because that was the day I had to leave. Why would they schedule anything notable on a Saturday anyway, since that is the busiest day for departures (most of which are early in the day) and arrivals (many of which are late in the afternoon and on into the evening)? Food – This was also disappointing. The grill at the nude beach was especially poor – I had a hamburger one day that was downright bad, and I never ate there again. (The food at the main restaurant fine, but not notable, and not much variety – less than I would expect from a big resort chain like SuperClubs.) The food at Breezes was MUCH better. The Ugly Sex on the Beach – I do not consider myself a prude by any means. I enjoyed the stuff they did like the PJ and toga parties, and the wet t-shirt and man-in-motion contests. (Heck, I was even a participant at one point!) I was also not at all surprised (or concerned) when things “heated up” after dark, especially at the nude hot tub. However, I did NOT expect so much brazenly open sexual activity during the day. Several guests performed a variety of sexual acts both on the beach and at (or in) the pool in broad daylight. To me, this crossed the line between "racy fun" and "sleazy". What offended me about it was not so much that it happened, but that it occurred against claims (according to your website) that there is some sort of “official” resort policy against such open activity. The fact is, resort security staff simply looked on and did nothing as this occurred throughout the week, and entertainment staff actually encouraged things by organizing contests at the nude pool such as best blowjob and best clit licking. The little blurb on the Castaways website is rather misleading about this; I think you would be better off being honest with potential customers instead of trying to deny that which might drive them away if they knew otherwise. Anna & Chris - November 2006 The Castaways service was as expected, efficient, professional, curtious, but it was the price that was the deciding factor. Hedonism II keps improving and that's a good news, unfortunately construction was being performed while we were there. A week prior to the Lifestyles Week, there was no crowd nor construction. Even though it was kept to a minimum, it was a nuisance and we all feel it could have been delt differently. The food has improved. The presence of the manager is much more visible now than ever before. The SCUBA diving is much better now than few years ago since the reef has revitalized, however, they are in need of new dive sites. It is hard to improve the perfection, providing, it will retain the same old qualities, BRING WINSTON BACK ! Bob and Sue in SW Florida The resort was at full capacity and it was party, party, party time! The Caribbean was just as delightful as one could imagine. The “Lunchtime Spin” was so much fun we wouldn’t let the Entertainment Coordinators stop! Afternoon naptime was provided by brief "liquid sunshine" periods, and gave us the required rest for some high-energy late night parties! The resort is in very fine condition, and the Piano Bar really came to life. The beach and its heavenly bodies were well decorated for the 4th of July. The marching band was just as awesome as ever. As they played our National Anthem, everyone rose in solemn respect and appreciation of our great country, always an extremely touching moment at Hedonism II. The parade was then assembled and the march of wild and crazy Hedonists was on! Wow, was it ever another fantastic trip to Hedonism II. We'll be parading around naked next year too. Hope to see you there! RA - December 2004 This was our first trip to H2 and we will go again ... We had been to several topless beaches. One previous was to Grand Lido (nude). My wife was unsure her level of participation, but she agreed to give it a try. I can’t say she was every comfortable, but the fully nudity became less of an issue each day. You need to be open minded and willing to step out of your box or you will be overwhelmed. Especially at the pajama party and togo night. Due to my wife’s shyness we observed vs participate in the daily nude beach activities. In general the entire day can be fun, just being part of this big group of people. Hopefully next time she will get completely out of her shell. We did see some public sex. Most was discrete, except one complete whose entire trip was to perform as much and as often as possible. We did not make to the hot tub for the nightly rituals and therefore I cannot comment on what I didn’t see. We stayed on the prude side. The room was very clean and adequate. It is a walk to every event, but it is quiet and very discrete. After staying the GL I was concerned the food would be barely tolerable. It was excellent. My only two food complaints are the limited seating at the restaurants (book early or miss out completely) and the very limited choices of “late night” choices. The food at the nude bar is great. Scotch Bonnet and Japanese were good. If you don’t get a seat, don’t worry. Food at the buffet was excellent 90% of the time. Nights and evenings were fantastic. The entertainment group is 150% energy and they keep it going 7x24. I liked this much better than GL. If you want to quietly go to your room or the beach you can get easily get away from everyone, but if you want entertainment it is there. My only issue with entertainment is the piano bar is so hot and smoky that non-smokers gag. It is a great idea, but that facility is substandard. Overall it was a blast. The bar and food staff are overworked and they do not try to be overly pleasant. We did tip or room attendant (she was very cordial and appreciative). I didn’t dive this trip, but the general feedback I heard was good. We met lots of great people. We weren’t there for swinging and no one made any comments or advances to suggest or invite us. It may have been there, but we did not see it. Most of the people we met had been there multiple times and most came on the same week saw old friends from the year before. Our plan is to go back next year. I would recommend it highly. If you want a very quiet and private trip, stay on the prude side and enjoy the prude (topless) beach. 90% of the guests are on the nude side. Food is great and entertainment is there for as much as you want. Russ and Ruthie - November 2004 We just returned from our second trip to Hedo II this year and the resort is better than ever. This was our fifth trip to Hedo II in recent years. The landscaping crew had the foresight to top some of the taller trees just prior to Hurricane Ivan’s arrival which minimized damage to structures. During our stay, some renovation and repairs were being made to the roofs of buildings on the nude side, but the work crews were polite and the construction activities did not interfere with guest activities. As always, the Hedo staff members were very attentive, the pools and beach areas were clean, and the food was good. We did all the usual activities including scuba diving, snorkeling, walking the Seven Mile Beach each day down to Beaches Negril and back, drank multiple “Dirty Bananas” (for Hedo virgins, it’s a cocktail), enjoyed the adult games and theme parties, and enjoyed the “Must do” clothing optional catamaran cruise. The weather was very cooperative with only a little rain each day in the afternoons. The sunsets were spectacular (see attached two photos). We met up with about 10 other Hedo veterans that we knew from previous trips and made many new friends, some of which only live within 100 miles from us back home. Gus and Eva - Houston - June 2002 We have been to other superclubs so we knew what to expect as for as service,food and booze.We used Air Jamaica.First time to use AJ.Will use them anytime to jamaica as long as they keep their rates in check.They have a desk at hedo 3 that from 10:45 to 11:45 you can check bags and get boarding pass, this is SO much better than doing it at the airport hope they always offer this service.Did our bags make it home you bet we even checked a 4 foot tall wooden carved mermaid that I knew we would never see again yep she made the trip.Also our AJ plane home was no where to be found,that day AJ had 5 planes with problems. So instead of having us wait forever or stay another day they had a charter plane take us home,left on time,got home on time so they get a big thumbs up from us. Our first time to Hedo 2 it was ok, rooms are dated but clean,AC worked great,shower worked great.All in all resort was fine..Got to drink down many Delroy specials um-um good.I liked the diving at hedo 2 alot, Negril seems to have better reefs,that would be reefs under water where there is marine life not the reefs you smoke just to clear that up.I read reports and various rants on the message boards about hedo 2,after going there I can say nice place, would go again. Hedo 2 gave us 4 time picks to take the bus to hedo 3, which I thought was cool. We took the 10am bus to the airport. Once at the airport went to superclub desk gave them our name, then we waited maybe 20 minutes then on another bus to hedo 3, total trip time from h2 to h3 - 3.5 hours. Check in at hedo 3 was fast thanks to Castaways travel they had all our paper work filled in, all we had to was sign it and off to our room in the quad area .Last year we were at hedo 3 in May, had a nude pool room got a free upgrade from Castaways travel or we would have been in the quad area again. The quad area last year was a ghost town since no group was there.This year the quad are was great full of beautiful, hot sexual people all day and night, gave the place a special buzz. We spent most of our time in the quad went to the nude pool once it was the same as always. We did go off property to the falls for $25.00 bucks it was money well spent. Next time will do the raft trip. Best to take the early boat as the afternoon is choppy water and not as clear. We plan on going to Hedo 3 next year when the same group goes as we feel this is the best time to go, will also go to Grand Lido Braco for a couple of days after Hedo 3. Braco is the best property they have, huge beaches and nude pool. Just a fine place to end your trip and only a few minutes from hedo 3. Side comments: Food? Both places ok, if you want better make reservations to their special restaurants or quit crying about the food.It is Hedonism not Julia Childs place. Booze? Brand names as much as you want when you want it.They could save everyone some time and have redstripe on tap around the resorts so we can get it to go.They had this set up at breezes bahamas. Rooms? Clean, Beds were fine, Ac worked well and plenty of hot shower water. It is not like your living there. Every thing was O-tay! People? What a blast! RWM - May 2001 When we made reservations to go to Jamaica and stay at Hedo, we really didn't know what to expect. We had done a lot of reading about Jamaica and had checked out the Hedo website, and we went with an open mind. Arriving at Hedo, after surviving the bus ride from Montego Bay, we immediately fell in love with the place! The grounds are in immaculate condition, the rooms are simple, but very comfortable, and the staff is incredibly accommodating. We thought the food was varied and delicious and as a vegetarian, I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of fresh fruits and veggies available at every meal. There was nothing more divine than floating in the warm calm ocean on a raft, except perhaps floating in the pool with a strawberry daiquiri in hand! We took windsurfing lessons from a very friendly and capable gentleman, ran down the length of the beach (pass the other BORING resorts!), we kayaked to Booby Kay, and did some lying around in the sun. We noticed that most of the folks that go to Hedo seem to stay right there without going anywhere else. We ventured out for two fabulous day trips. One trip was a mountain bike ride guided by the Jamaican National mountain bike champion (look up Rusty's Excellent Adventures) through the hillsides that you simply do not get to see from a bus window. Our other adventure was to Mayfield Falls, which we booked at the Hedo tour desk, and was worth every penny of the $65 it cost us. We hiked up a pristine fresh water river, up many falls and through pools and sat in natural "jacuzzis". It was a gorgeous area and we got to see a part of Jamaica that is totally different from the towns that you pass as you drive to and from the airport. We simply cannot wait to go back to Hedo. Next time however, I am going to bring my own wicked toga that I have already created in my mind! Did I mention how incredibly fabulous the 4 hands massage was?? I have got to do that again. We plan to return to Hedo every year! The only negative comment I have is that so many other Hedo lovers are cigarette smokers! There were butts (of the cigarette kind!) everywhere and for those few of us who don't smoke, it was sort of annoying to have overflowing ashtrays around the pool and hot tub as well as smoke in the food area. It wasn't a real big deal, but it was bothersome at times. Vernon & Millie - May 2001 We are new to the nudism side of life, the preveous couple of times, that we have gone nude, we had found it quite enjoyable and freeing. not knowing what really to expect, my wife and I went to Hedo expecting their reputation to be for real. It was a little tamer that we thought it would be. Yes we did see several Sex acts being done, but we are all adults, so what the hell. we laid on the beach every day, went out on the party cruise, all the time naked. We really relaxed. The food was good. The Scotch Bonnet restuarant was great. The bars were great. Everyone wants to help make your stay pleasant / relaxful or, as loud as you want to be. We never went to the disco(thats not us), so I tell you about it. We do plan on going back I can tell you that 6 days is not enough. We had a great time. Our only problem was that Hedo was overbooked our first night and that is not good for all the travelling you do to get there, they did put us in a resort down the road, but we book at Hedo and that is where we expected to stay. lLynda - April 2001 I spent a total of 20 days at Hedo II last year. I used to be kind of self-conscious, but after the first 4 hours on the January trip, I found out that the hardest thing to do at Hedo is put your clothes back on. My first trip, I spent a lot of time reading quietly on the beach and socializing at night. It was relaxing and wonderful. My August trip, I really got into the games and played everything. ( I almost had a million hedo bucks) I swam and floated and drank every day and only read one book the whole time. My third trip, I'm not sure if there were any games, maybe, I'm not sure if there were very many other people there. I just needed that week to be naked,enjoy the sunset and unwind by staring at the water. I had a great time on all three trips. Hedo II is the only place I can think of where you can have so many separate vacations at the same resort. As far as the swinging scene goes, a few very discreet offers were made, but no one was overbearing and refusals were politely accepted. T he staff is wonderful, particularly Anton and Roxane. They really made me feel like I was coming home. Jeannie - April 2000 I wanted to write and let you know that your description of the Hedonism resorts is right on track. The first time that we went it was to Hedonism ll, and it truly is a non-stop party 24 / 7. The second time that we went , we decided to do the Hedo Sample with an extra night added at Hedo ll. The package also offered free air travel from Negril to Montego Bay. It was a wonderful experience, we had a private plane when a very liberal open-minded pilot who basically said anything goes. This was my first experience in a small plane, but the pilot's flying abilities made it a very smooth flight. After arriving in Montego Bay, we were driven to Hedonism lll in a car with a private driver. He and his family were from that part of Jamaica and he knew all the local points of interest along the way. That made the drive a lot more pleasant as opposed to riding in a bus. In comparing the 2 resorts, I can say that Hedonism ll is more like a camp for adults, more rustic, and with a lot more gorgeous natural vegetation. Hedonism lll is more like a resort, with all the amenities, choices of restaurants, swim-up bars and activities to do. I especially enjoyed the Scotch Bonnet restaurant with their jerk chicken. It truly was some of the best that I have ever had. The water slide is something that everyone should experience. I found it to be just the thing to clear your head in the morning after about 15 hours of partying. Both places have warm hospitable people there, always wanting to know if everything is alright. We are planning our third visit to Jamaica in April and this time we will be staying the entire week in Hedonism lll. The rooms are spacious, new, and the ability to be able to make a phone call or watch TV without having to go anywhere is wonderful. I would, as you mentioned in your review of Hedonism lll, would undoubtedly ask for a room in building 6. It overlooks the nude pool and bar and the sunsets from there are fabulous. February - March 99 - D.L.G. First timers. Sorta ended up there after a few days in Ocho Rios. For starters, the preconception that its a giant sex party on the beach all day is simply not true. This was our first trip to a resort with a nude beach and it was awsome. We were a little apprenhesive at first, but soon felt totally comfortable due to the fact that no one makes a big deal out of it. Standing around a beach bar with 50 naked people making conversation is a very different experience. We met people from all walks of life and ages. It was great. We were there approximatly four weeks and hated to leave. The Pajama Party is the highlight event of the week in our opinion. The Toga Party is also a must. Make sure someone from you group attends the Toga Tying lesson. You'll need the instruction. Mark and Eladio are experts. The staff is wonderful. They truly make an effort to insure you have a good time. The dining room staff has a knack for seating people of like interests. Eladio (entertain! ment director) and his staff keep you busy and encourage particapation in all activities. We attended a beach wedding where all the guest were nude. What a sight! The bride, groom and minister were clothed. Guys, a little advise. Be sure to use sunscreen liberally. Sunburn to certain parts of the anatomy can be VERY painful and hinder the romance of the vacation. Trust me. The only thing that could stand a little improvement would be the music in the disco. They need to have a larger variety of dance music. After a few scotches, some rock and roll would be nice. We've traveled quite extensively in the Carribean and by far our vacation to this resort, for entertainment, the staff and nonstop fun, beats all others hands down. If you go, tell Dwight Newman hello for me. He's a good guy. May 98 - Wayne & Ann Our May trip was our third to Hedo. We had another great time Our best impression of this trip was the new spa and pool area on the nude side. We had seen this area under construction and we must say that the outcome far exceeded our expectations. The swim-up bar, misting pool and waterfall are a terriffic addition to this part of the resort. A new Delroy's and the expanded food service by the nude pool is also quite a plus! This was our first time to stay in a garden room, and while at first dissapointed, we gotta say that we actually now prefer those rooms to the beachfront rooms. They were much quieter and closer to the other facilities. (Not like we're in the room much anyway!) The food was not as good on this trip as on previous visits. There seemed to be less of a selection of fresh fruits and desserts, and the rest just wasn't very exciting. Not bad - just not exceptional. However, we found the fresh fish offerings a bit better than ever before. The crowd this year was a bit younger than on our previous visits. More couples in their 20s to early 30s than ever before. They were for the most part just as much fun, but quite a few of the younger couples seem a bit stand-offish from the over 40's set like us. But the non-stop party was in full force and we had a blast. The people and the fun are the reason we go and is the reason we'll be back.
